Job Overview

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, a leading provider of strategic IT services for both commercial and governmental sectors, is in search of a full-time Senior Systems Administrator. This role involves delivering exceptional support to clients.

Security Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of installation, configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of various hardware and software systems.
  • Manage server and desktop support, including imaging services, release management, password management, and IT training.
  • Provide hands-on support for all designated IT systems within the assigned area.
  • Administer password control management, including the issuance and maintenance of end-user accounts and passwords.
  • Offer technical guidance and training for support staff engaged in technical operations.
  • Install, integrate, and maintain a variety of system servers and workstations, particularly Windows Server 2012r2-2019 and Windows 10 OS.
  • Implement policies and standards related to IT systems and network security.
  • Deliver comprehensive solutions for managing desktops, servers, printers, and networking equipment.
  • Assist users with networking issues, including connection and password support.
  • Evaluate, install, configure, upgrade, and back up hardware and software systems.
  • Help configure file shares and link servers to database systems.
  • Utilize scripting languages to develop online forms that connect users to databases.
  • Support the management of remote client access.
  • Monitor network traffic and recommend additional resources or hardware as needed.

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in:
    • Virtual Machine Servers (VMs)
    • Server OS Knowledge (Server 2012r2-2019)
    • OS Hardening through patch management
    • Automation using tools and scripting (Batch/Powershell)
    • Advanced Active Directory and Group Policy management
    • Administration of file shares (NTFS and Share Permissions)
    • STIG/IAVAS and POA&M processes
    • Vulnerability Assessment and Backup/Restore processes
    • COTS software/hardware

Required Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
