Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PEO State Unemployment Hearing Specialist to join our team at Paychex. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in guiding clients through the unemployment hearing process and ensuring they receive the best possible representation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare clients for unemployment hearings to ensure they are knowledgeable about the process and have all necessary information.
  • Serve as a client representative in unemployment hearings to advocate for their interests and ensure effective claim adjudication.
  • Research and analyze escalated issues to provide problem-solving support and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Mentor and train colleagues to enhance their knowledge and skills in departmental processes and unemployment insurance regulations.
  • Analyze annual tax rate notices to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of tax rates.
  • Participate in projects and departmental initiatives to identify training, documentation, and system enhancement needs.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Diploma and preferably an Associate's Degree. In addition to a strong educational background, we require excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation

We offer a competitive starting base pay range of $ - $ hourly. Please note that this range is the base pay only and does not include other components of the total rewards package. Your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
