Affordable Housing Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with unit turnovers, including painting and appliance installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in residential property management
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Experience with rehab and renovation, pool maintenance, and HVAC maintenance
- Knowledge of plumbing repair, electrical repair, and drywall installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
