Responsibilities:


Your role will involve providing outstanding service in all tasks and treating others with respect and dignity.

You will be a proactive team player, skilled at navigating challenges and finding solutions.


Your duties will include utilizing independent judgment to perform clerical tasks for patient care units, such as accurately transcribing orders, organizing reports, and coordinating transportation for patients requiring external tests.

Additionally, you will manage phone communications, relay messages, and maintain open lines of communication with nursing staff.

Timely handling of all necessary documentation will be essential.

You will also be responsible for ordering supplies from the inventory department as needed.

Ensuring the verification of physician credentials prior to order transcription will be part of your duties.

Accurate transcription and flagging of orders from patient charts will be required.

Arranging transportation for patients needing tests not available on-site will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial, as is a commitment to customer service.

You should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, as you will be expected to read and update patient records.


Minimum requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience with medical documentation and terminology is necessary.
