Job Title: Travel Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in CT Scan, angiograms, and CT procedures in a hospital setting.
  • EPIC experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in nursing, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred.
