Computed Tomography Technologist PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a Computed Tomography Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly for CT scans, taking into account their size, shape, and any medical conditions they may have.
  • Use radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in CT technology and imaging techniques.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a CT technologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
