Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear CV Services Tech PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing nuclear cardiology procedures and other related examinations with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines for performing nuclear cardiology procedures, including MUGAs, first pass studies, and gated perfusion.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and ensure accurate dosing and labeling.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and dose calibrators.
  • Process and analyze imaging data, including computerized tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET) scans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Vocational school graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
