Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic with expertise in electrical systems to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall plant reliability.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Source and requisition maintenance supplies, equipment, and services within budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within the team.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.
  • Ability to use MIG and ARC welders, as well as order parts and maintain inventory.
  • Advanced working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, power transmission, and automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of facility maintenance, including roof, dock, plumbing, and plant equipment.
  • Computer savvy with practical knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
