Job Opportunity

Casa Palmera, a nationally recognized subacute residential treatment center, is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food service to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes.
  • Inspect special diet trays to ensure accurate diet delivery.
  • Coordinate dietary services with other departments as needed.
  • Work with the facility's clinical nutritionist and dietitian to implement recommended changes.
  • Ensure compliance with established food procedures and policies.
  • Prepare and serve patients' nutritional snacks.
  • Assist in establishing a food service production line to ensure timely meal preparation.
  • Process diet changes and new diets as received from the Nursing Department.
  • Participate in departmental studies and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a cook or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sobriety.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and culinary skills.
