Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers/design team members to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, reports, and schedules, and coordinate with utility companies to obtain necessary electrical permits.
  • Organize technical and financial proposals for new work and oversee the workload of project discipline engineers and technicians to ensure quality verification.
  • Develop concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detailed design and prepare comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Track the financial performance of projects and contribute to delivering profitable projects through effective financial and resource management.
  • Guide junior electrical engineers and ensure practices and services align with client interests, current legislation, and relevant building codes.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience in the building services and construction industry, specifically in larger-scale projects such as higher education, commercial, museums, and airports.
  • Competency in using design software such as Revit and familiarity with computational analysis tools.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
  • Up to 15 years of total professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer certification to enhance credibility and expertise.
  • LEED AP accreditation to demonstrate expertise in sustainable design practices.
