Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:
The Swift Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work in Laurel, MD. This role requires senior-level experience in manufacturing mechanical systems that are interfaced with electronics.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for mechanical systems with electronic interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test mechanical systems
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
• Manage supply chain concerns and quality control

Requirements:
• Fifteen (15) years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a related discipline
• Experience with at least two of the following: vacuum systems, cryogenics, electronics packaging and interconnects, custom electronics assemblies

Desired Skills:
• Experience in managing government regulations, including export control and IP protection
• Ability to manage supply chain concerns and quality control
• Current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph
