Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Red Bank Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential and maintain their health.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will use purposeful activities and interventions to maximize the independence and health of individuals limited by physical injury or illness, cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disability, or adverse environmental condition.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assessment, treatment, and education of individuals, families, or other persons
  • Interventions directed toward developing daily living skills, work readiness or work performance, play skills or leisure capacities, or enhancing educational performance skills
  • Providing for the development of sensory-motor, perceptual, or neuromuscular functioning; range of motion; or emotional, motivational, cognitive, or psychosocial components of performance
Qualifications
  • Current state license in good standing with the State Board
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate accurately and precisely to patients and family members
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
