Job Summary

Alto Pharmacy is a forward-thinking, digitally-powered pharmacy that prioritizes patient health and satisfaction. We're seeking a skilled Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of prescriptions, including quality control and order consolidation.
  • Collaborate with our in-house courier team to deliver medications to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to improve internal systems and processes.
  • Pay close attention to detail when filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare and fill orders for patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with inventory management duties, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and maintaining automated dispensing machines.
  • Apply knowledge of the pharmacy industry to contribute to our innovative approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • A current CPhT pharmacy technician license or a pharmacy technician in training license (must complete hours to get pharmacy technician license within 1 year of starting with Alto).
  • Open availability during operating business hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compliance with all Board of Pharmacy regulations and other federal, state, and local agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience working in a pharmacy, preferably in retail or long-term care.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 35 pounds.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional sitting.
  • Close visual acuity and ability to read English.
  • Use of hands and fingers to grasp and manipulate objects.
