Patient Care Technician Specialist

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) with DaVita, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our patients suffering from end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. With paid training, you will gain the skills needed to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to multiple patients per day.
What You Can Expect
- Direct patient care: Spend most of your day interacting with patients, providing individualized care, and building long-term relationships.
- Technician duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis, including hemodialysis machine setup, patient observations, and recording stats.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other PCTs, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements
- Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet, wearing comfortable shoes
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics as needed
- Prior healthcare experience beneficial, but not required
