Job Summary

The Digital Media Trading Senior Manager is a key role within our US In-House Media team, supporting the US business within our North America division. This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation of our digital media strategies, working closely with the team to develop and execute programmatic campaigns that deliver on business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of digital media campaigns across programmatic platforms, ensuring seamless integration with our media plans.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the category media model, media plans, and the role of programmatic campaigns within those.
  • Partner with the team to develop and run data-informed strategic programmatic campaigns, driving business outcomes and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns to meet defined category goals and best practices, monitoring pacing, performance, cost, and quality.
  • Collaborate with the category media team and agencies to ensure accurate buys and trafficking in Prisma, with a focus on quality and performance.
  • Own the full proof of performance process for programmatic campaigns, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage campaign delivery against spend and impression goals, as well as key KPIs, providing regular updates and recommendations to the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve campaign issues, working closely with the team to find solutions.
  • Maintain detailed optimization notes and campaign insights, identifying opportunities for cross-tactic optimization and sharing with the team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with DSPs, staying up-to-date on platform updates, bugs, and training opportunities, and raising issues or areas for improvement.
  • Work with P&G Analytics & Insights and the media team to develop dashboards and reporting capabilities, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the full media team on planning, strategy, and capabilities, working together to continuously improve and evolve our programmatic approach.
  • Work with the Investments lead to input on deal needs, suppliers, set up, and structure of deals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Be a programmatic expert and thought leader for the team, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in programmatic and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Lead a team of 2-4 direct reports, ensuring effective collaboration and flawless execution of media campaigns.
  • Train and develop team members in programmatic campaign strategy, management, and analytics, ensuring a high level of expertise across the team.
  • Track and manage non-working media costs associated with programmatic campaigns, ensuring accurate reporting and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-5+ years of experience as a programmatic trader
  • Strong proficiency in DV360 and experience managing YouTube campaigns
  • 2+ years of experience as a manager of direct reports
  • Prefer experience with clients who have significant national advertising and experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or other fast-moving, consumer-facing spaces
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Foundational marketing acumen
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint at minimum)
  • Ability to learn server-based software and tools
  • Strong interest in and familiarity with full media planning and activation process
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for media and specifically programmatic as a trader

Compensation for roles at Procter & Gamble varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
