Join Our Team as a Conveyance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyance Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a Conveyance Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and rehabilitating new and existing conveyance infrastructure for municipal and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and rehabilitate new and existing conveyance infrastructure, including transmission, distribution, and collection pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
  • Work with water, stormwater, and wastewater systems to identify solutions for clients' needs.
  • Perform condition assessments and coordinate with our in-house survey and utility locating staff to deliver technical reports and lead the production of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet clients' needs and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance engineering for municipal or industrial clients.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
  • Detailed civil design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
  • Experience with water/wastewater equipment for municipal or industrial clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hydraulic modeling experience.
  • Experience with trenchless pipe installation and rehabilitation technologies.
  • Exposure to surveying, geotechnical, and cost estimating.
  • Exposure to rotating equipment and process treatment equipment.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
  • Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects.
  • Construction support services for water and wastewater projects.
