Job Summary:

Carle Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance of unit supplies and ensure the smooth function of the unit.
• Collect and record patient data as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Perform or assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, vital signs, and meal preparation.
• Maintain patient safety as the highest priority, ensuring compliance with safety measures such as fall precautions and pressure ulcer prevention.
• Respond to patient call lights and complete patient requests in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Completion of CNA coursework within the past 24 months or successful completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program.
