Job Title: Medical Assistant Float Mobile

Job Summary:

TrueCare is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float Mobile Medical Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, registering new patients, and scheduling appointments.
  • Work in different environments, including our state-of-the-art Mobile Medical Unit and brick-and-mortar clinics.
  • Be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to cover at any location within the organization with minimal notice.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures, and healthcare operations and workflow
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Healthcare-related courses
  • 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • 6 months experience with documentation in an HER system
  • Phlebotomy training
