Fuel Manager Job Description

TravelCenters of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fuel Manager to lead our fuel operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing and operations functions of our fuel building, including programs such as Reserve-It parking. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every traveler leaves our travel center better than they arrived, with a positive experience and a desire to return.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the fuel operations team to achieve business objectives and improve profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase fuel sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the Reserve-It parking program and ensure seamless execution.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in the convenience store, truck service, travel center, or related business industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational understanding of POS software.
