About the Role:

Fives Group is seeking a highly skilled Product Research and Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing reliable automation solutions and proving machine performance in a test lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop PLC programs and user interface screens
Program Fanuc robots and assemble, wire, and troubleshoot them on the demo room floor
Support sales team account managers with robotic cell simulations and system layout simulations
Perform efficiency and reliability studies on existing machine product lines

Requirements:

A BS or MS in an engineering discipline is preferred (Emphasis on Electrical). 5-8 years of related work experience is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teaming skills with internal teams, external partners, and direct customer interaction are essential.
