The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a high-functioning team of Global Operations Specialists, who will serve as the primary points of contact for our manufacturing and logistics partners, both internally and externally, in order to manage and mitigate patient scheduling issues in real-time over the weekends.

The Manager will ensure that their team is trained and supported in order to operate at an exceptional level. This person must maintain strong relationships with partners across the commercial franchise, the manufacturing and supply chain organizations, and other partner teams to ensure best-in-class customer service is delivered to our patient treatment centers around the world.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years of work experience in scheduling, planning, operations, logistics, and/or supply chain. Experience working in Salesforce CRM, APEX, Oracle, SAP, and/or other comparable planning/scheduling/execution systems is preferred.

The Manager will be responsible for hiring and developing a team of high-functioning Global Operations Specialists, influencing day-to-day operations through a strong sense of leadership, and managing first-level escalations, including urgent escalations and business continuity events, and exceptions processes, such as product return or product replacements.

The Manager will also be accountable for team performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional team atmosphere, manage given resources and identify resource needs, lead and manage regional and cross-functional projects, and ensure direct reports are properly trained and aligned with SCLT strategy.

The Manager will also provide weekly updates on team projects and goals, provide input into goals and plans to deliver on SCLT strategy, manage relationships with regional partners as assigned, act as SME on global projects as assigned, and lead at least one cross-region working group.

The ideal candidate will have highly self-motivated, self-aware, and professional skills, excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, and the ability to lead a team of professionals directly and indirectly.

The Manager will also have flexibility in responding to changing business needs, be eager to work with teams from other regions and cultures, have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and be able to work independently and in groups.

Bristol Myers Squibb offers a competitive salary range of $87,000 - $110,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience.
