  • Oversee the management of laboratory personnel
  • Handle recruitment, disciplinary measures, and employee separations
  • Supervise staff evaluations, workforce planning, and training programs
  • Collaborate on financial planning and expense oversight
  • Manage the processing, billing, and quality assurance of laboratory tests
  • Monitor performance enhancement and quality assurance initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Maintain precise records and ensure equipment is operational
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Provide expert technical guidance and perform testing as necessary
  • Represent the laboratory in hospital committees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting with moderate to high complexity testing
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Certification as MLS, MLT, or MT from accredited organizations
  • Current certification required if applicable
