Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of medically fragile patients, ensuring the clinical care delivered by our field staff meets or exceeds the Aveanna Clinical Standard of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal case management, evaluation, and development of nursing talent
- Participating in the release of patients from facilities to their homes through "Start of Care Assessments" and "Re-evaluations"
- Reviewing physicians' orders and updating plans of care and documentation, as necessary
- Assisting with interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
- Promoting and enhancing the level of clinical expertise of staff to provide safe and quality nursing care for patients
- Collaborating with operations and business development teams
- Ensuring adherence to State, Federal, Local, and Aveanna policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
- Ability to travel to patients' homes in designated territory
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
- Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
