Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers, team members, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visual inspections of the building exterior and parking lot to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Perform walking inspections of the backroom and sales floor to detect and prevent internal and external theft.
  • Review cashier exception reports and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Conduct internal theft surveillance and review theft activity reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Test and inspect camera equipment to ensure effective operation and identify any security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in the apprehension of individuals involved in external theft and assist in prosecution of cases.
  • Document and report all incidents and security breaches, including writing detailed incident reports and testifying in court proceedings as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety practices, principles, guidelines, and policies, and maintain a high level of safety accountability.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.
