Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services to patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive treatment plan.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide cognitive behavioral therapies and social services, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
- Serve as a patient advocate, addressing grievances and ensuring that patients receive fair and respectful treatment.
- Document progress and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Conduct suicide risk assessments and collaborate with the treatment team to develop effective intervention strategies.
- Obtain necessary consent for release of records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document patient treatment status, contact notes, and discharge plans, maintaining a thorough and detailed medical record.
- Report suspected cases of physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect, adhering to state and system policies.
- Implement understanding of system policies and procedures, providing leadership and guidance in clinical interventions.
- Refer to and work with other departments and agencies as needed, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- At least two years of experience in healthcare, with a minimum of two years in a psychiatric setting.
- Bi-annual re-certification required.
- Formal training in the management of aggressive patients within sixty days of hire.
