Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide high-quality direct social services to patients and their families, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services to patients and their families, including cognitive behavioral therapies and social services.
- Serve as patient advocate, ensuring that patients' rights and needs are respected and addressed.
- Document progress and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments, incorporating new knowledge and skills into practice.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- At least two years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Formal training in the management of aggressive patients, with certification within sixty days of hire.
