Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide direct social services to patients and their families, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services to patients and their families
- Perform duties as directed by your manager, including cognitive behavioral therapies and social services
- Serve as patient advocate, following System policy and procedure
- Document progress according to the treatment plan
- Collaborate with treatment team to assess and manage suicide risk
- Obtain necessary consent for release of records
- Document patient's treatment status in medical record daily
- Assist with coordination of treatment director's hold as needed
- Document discharge plan and summary
- Report suspected cases of physical, sexual abuse and/or neglect
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited school
- Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- At least two years of experience in healthcare and two years in a psychiatric setting
- Formal training in the management of aggressive patients
