The organization is in search of a Paid Search Manager to propel the advancement of their paid search initiatives. You thrive in a fast-paced setting, are energized by managing multiple tasks, and aim to uphold high standards, continuously improving team performance and project outcomes. Your data-driven mindset will guide your decision-making processes.
As part of the paid advertising team, you will leverage paid search methodologies to attract new users to our products. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with the paid performance team, overseeing the launch, management, and scaling of paid search campaigns. A proactive individual with a robust understanding of paid search tactics, analytics, and testing will excel in this position.
Work Location: Remote - available throughout the US
Contract Duration: 18 months with potential for conversion
Compensation Range: $45/hr to $52/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and enhance innovative paid search strategies to meet business objectives and maximize return on investment (ROI)
- Analyze and report on campaign performance metrics to guide strategic decisions, expansion initiatives, and improve future campaigns
- Drive innovation within SEM by conducting ongoing testing and data-driven optimization of keywords, bidding strategies, and ad copy
- Conduct in-depth reporting, focusing on bids, devices, audience segments, geographic and demographic targets, creative assets, etc.
- Manage and optimize a multi-million dollar budget for substantial SEM growth, collaborating with external agencies for effective execution
- Process trademark whitelisting requests for client partnerships and report competitor trademark violations as necessary
- Submit and oversee project requests with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in campaign management, measurement, optimization, and reporting
- 3-5 years of proven experience in managing complex paid search accounts with a deep understanding of search engine marketing and a history of driving channel growth
- Strong affinity for data and exceptional analytical skills in manipulating data sets (e.g., creating pivot tables, VLOOKUP, managing budget/performance)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience collaborating with Marketing Analytics, Product Marketing, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering teams
- Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently
- Commitment to quality and results
- A passion for the work and team, with a desire to enhance team performance in all aspects
- Experience with keyword trademark management and third-party tools
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience in reporting, data presentation, and visualization using Tableau
