Job Summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our client's team in Aurora, CO as a Medical Support Specialist. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess donor eligibility, including managing informed consent, providing AIDS education, and conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks.
  • Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.
  • Evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to SOPs for medical emergencies.
  • Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when needed to provide unacceptable findings to donors or guidance on medical or technical issues.
  • Champion vaccination programs for employees, including Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccinations.
  • Potentially become a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community.
Requirements
  • Colorado Paramedic License
  • BLS & CPR (Adult & Pediatric)
  • Preferred: Plasma knowledge and Venipuncture skills
