">Job Summary
">We are seeking a Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to play a key role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized support in daily living activities.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily living skills, personal care, and household tasks. ">
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and encourage their participation in community events and activities. ">
- Administer medications according to training and maintain accurate health and behavioral records. ">
- Foster a safe, clean, and respectful environment in the home or community settings. ">
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and external providers to ensure high-quality, person-centered support. ">
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
">- High school diploma or GED equivalent ">
- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, or a related field is preferred but not required; training is provided. ">
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities. ">
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ">
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to become a company driver. ">
- Ability to pass a background check ">
- Capable of performing physical tasks required for the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
