Postpartum Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Postpartum Nurse Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Clackamas, Oregon. This is a full-time night shift position.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have at least nine months of RN experience and one year of recent experience in postpartum/newborn/LDRP settings within the last three years. They will be responsible for assessing, planning, directing, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and coordinating with other healthcare disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care
- Initiate appropriate measures based on protocols for managing medical and surgical patients
- Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient response to treatment
- Minimum nine months of RN experience
- One year of recent experience in postpartum/newborn/LDRP settings within the last three years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Previous healthcare experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
