Job Title: Admissions Unit RN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Admissions Unit team at Judit, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a seamless transition for patients entering our facility.

Job Summary:

The Admissions Unit RN will provide personalized care to patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, effective communication, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of acute care RN experience.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse Registered Nurse Diploma.
