Job Title: Product Management Director

Comtech Telecommunications is seeking a seasoned Product Management Director to lead the development and lifecycle management of our AI-based emergency service telephony software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for AI-based 911 telephony software, conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Product Development and Lifecycle Management: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate product vision into detailed requirements and specifications, prioritize and manage the product backlog, and oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and promotional materials, and collaborate with customer support and success teams to ensure product adoption, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
  • Customer and Market Engagement: Engage with customers, industry experts, and partners to gather insights and validate product concepts, represent the voice of the customer within the organization, and conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to ensure our products remain market leaders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, particularly in AI, 911 telephony, or software products, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products in a dynamic, innovative environment.
  • Technical Background: Experience with AI technologies and 911 telephony systems, strong understanding of software development processes.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, ability to inspire and lead teams toward achieving product goals.
