Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging programs and activities that promote the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify resident needs and preferences
- Plan and execute events, parties, and celebrations that promote socialization and community building
- Provide support and assistance to residents with daily activities, such as exercise, arts and crafts, and games
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
