Mammography Technologist

As a Mammography Technologist at Providence, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for operating mammography equipment, taking images, and ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate images
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- 1 year of experience in mammography or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
