Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations team at Synectics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reviewing accounting policies and procedures, as well as financial operations processes and duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Produce accurate and timely financial reports and analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Accounting Policy and Procedure Management: Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee and manage financial operations processes, including general ledger, account payables, account receivables, and cash management.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
  • Internal Audit and Compliance: Lead and execute internal audit initiatives to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Financial Decision Support: Provide financial and business decision support to the Leadership Team to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Technology and Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of information technology systems and infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience in accounting and AP/AR in a manufacturing environment, including 1+ years' leadership experience.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, quantitative, and reporting skills; strong knowledge of ERP systems, NetSuite experience preferred; highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.
  • Qualifications: Inventory management experience required; experience supporting multiple subsidiaries preferred; knowledge of federal tax, sales tax, and CAT tax preferred.
