Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Applications Engineer to join our team at Adam Kay Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product engineering and customer-facing skills.
The company specializes in electromagnetic sensors for engines, and this role will be part of the sensor application and product development engineering group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with customers, sales representatives, and product engineering to understand customer requirements and deliver product solutions.
- Test and create feasibility studies for technical applications of sensor products.
- Design sensor products in accordance with product requirements and customer specifications.
- Deliver technical proposals in support of quotations and orders.
- Partner with the supply chain function to identify and develop component suppliers.
- Participate in pre-production and prototype activity in-house and with partner plants.
- Participate in Product Quality Planning activities and Six Sigma activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Electrical and/or Mechanical CAD experience.
- A minimum of 4 years related experience in Product/Applications Engineering with similar products.
- Hands-on electrical or mechanical assembly experience.
- General knowledge of hall sensor and magnetic target product design and manufacturing processes.
- Depth of experience designing for manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of programs like Team Center, Pro-Engineer, UG CAD.
This is an onsite position in Keene, NH. A great relocation package is available. No contract, contract to hire, or sponsorship is available for this position.
Compensation:
Pay for this position will be competitive with a 10% bonus potential.
