Core Responsibilities
- Engage with guests and team members in a welcoming, service-oriented manner.
- Adhere to attendance standards as per company policies, which may vary based on operational needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal grooming and uniform compliance.
- Follow all company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
- Meet certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Safety.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times.
- Perform preparatory tasks and side duties to ensure prompt and efficient service.
- Understand and interpret the Banquet Event Order and menu for assigned functions.
- Serve guests in accordance with the hotel's service standards, ensuring a courteous and professional experience.
- Address guest issues and complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
- Stay informed about current hotel policies and procedures.
- Familiarize oneself with emergency exits, fire extinguisher locations, and safety protocols.
- Keep the banquet storage area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Clear banquet areas post-event, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and restocked.
- Exhibit attentiveness, friendliness, and helpfulness towards guests and colleagues.
- Understand the hotel's organizational structure and the role of each department.
- Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Participate in meetings as required by management.
