Senior Financial Analyst - Strategy and Planning

Compass Group, North America is a leading foodservice and support services company with a strong presence in the US market. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst - Strategy and Planning to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sector reporting packages for Compass Group NA Officers and Sector Finance
  • Provide financial insights and projections to leadership teams and ensure reliable data and analysis for decision-making and planning
  • Oversee monthly close tasks and collaborate with finance team members to ensure accurate reporting
  • Prepare and evaluate forecasts and budgets to assist executive leadership in managing projections and decision-making
  • Utilize Essbase to analyze and load financial data into Hyperion, SAP, and HFM
  • Compile reports containing KPIs and financial metrics for the Executive team
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis for Sector Finance and Executive Management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Five+ years of accounting/finance/reporting experience in a large organization
  • Excellent problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills
  • Team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to drive completion of deliverables independently
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel (other BI tools a plus)
  • Hyperion, Essbase, HFM, and SAP experience a plus
