Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team. This full-time position requires a Registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have advanced study in pharmacy or a related field, national board certification in pharmacotherapy, and departmental certification in Medication Management (MTM).

You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing new and established pharmacy clinical services, implementing and interpreting policies and procedures, and reviewing and analyzing pharmacy clinical services to recommend and implement changes.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and web browsers is also required.

This position involves extended periods of standing and walking, as well as occasional travel between facilities or sites. You will function independently within a broad scope of departmental policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee new and established pharmacy clinical services
  • Implement and interpret policies and procedures
  • Review and analyze pharmacy clinical services to recommend and implement changes
  • Provide education and training to pharmacy residents, students, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in risk management activities and quality improvement initiatives

The estimated salary for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Lifespan offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
