Field Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Field Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating applicator equipment, and performing maintenance on that equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and apply pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals to crops
- Accurately record and maintain log books on applied acres
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on application equipment
- Wear personal protective equipment as required
- Participate in continuing education to maintain pesticide applicator license
- Attend equipment workshops and training sessions
- Perform maintenance on other equipment and facilities
- Work flexible hours, including nights, overtime, and weekends during peak season
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience operating large equipment and a Class A or B CDL
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Mechanically inclined and able to perform routine maintenance
- Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Agricultural background and knowledge of ag pesticides
- Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers
- Professional competence in safety procedures
As a Field Equipment Operator, you will work in a typical warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be required to work near moving equipment and mechanical parts, and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, and electrical shock.
You will be required to use your hands for various tasks, talk, hear, walk, stand, and sit. You will regularly lift or move up to 100 pounds.
