Manufacturing Operations Specialist

Position Summary:
Norco is in search of a dedicated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Operations Specialist. This role is crucial for the efficient handling of gas cylinders and freight. The Manufacturing Operations Specialist will ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, as well as the accurate filling of cylinders with various gases. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing the weight of cylinders and freight for accurate loading.
- Loading materials onto trucks while adhering to weight regulations.
- Ensuring all materials are handled with care to prevent damage during transport.
- Filling both industrial and medical-grade gases into cylinders, maintaining precise records.
- Handling liquefied gases and cryogenic liquids in accordance with established protocols.
- Assisting customers and managing paperwork in the absence of a supervisor.
- Conducting analytical tests on products as per established guidelines.
- Performing additional tasks as required.
- Compensation starting at $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles.
- The capability to obtain a CDL License through in-house training.
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with relevant software applications.
- Previous experience with gas cylinders is advantageous.
