Wood is actively seeking a Field Logistics Coordinator to become a part of our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
The individual in this position will oversee various tasks within our activated carbon production site, which includes monitoring machinery, conducting inspections, and performing preventive maintenance to guarantee optimal operational efficiency.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work schedules may include rotating shifts or standard weekday hours.
- Enhance processing efficiency and uphold product quality standards.
- Supervise plant machinery, collect samples, and manage material loading operations.
- Prepare bag orders and bulk shipments using loading equipment.
- Communicate effectively with Plant Lead operators to maintain ideal operational conditions.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are necessary.
- Capability to work at heights using ladders and lifts while adhering to safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to engage in vigorous outdoor tasks and possess manual dexterity for extended periods, including climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening, fit test, and background check.
