Senior Veterinarian in Emergency & Critical Care at AMC

The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is a leading institution for animal care, research, and education. As a Senior Veterinarian in our Emergency & Critical Care Department, you will play a vital role in providing cutting-edge veterinary care to pets in need.

With over 55,000 patient visits annually, our ER operates 24/7 with a team of board-certified specialists, interns, residents, and licensed technicians. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a brand-new surgical center, 1.5 Tesla MRI, and advanced diagnostic equipment. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for teaching, mentoring, and research.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary case receiving and oversight of interns and ECC residents
  • Monitoring of ICU patients and oversight of interns in the ER
  • Collaboration with boarded criticalists and senior ECC residents

Requirements:

  • Board certification or equivalent experience in Emergency & Critical Care
  • Excellent clinical skills and leadership abilities
  • Diplomatic, patient, and confident character traits
