Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Leadership Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hospital management team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the nursing team, supervising nurses, technicians, and assistants, and ensuring excellent patient care. Your success will be measured by your ability to inspire and motivate your team to achieve excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage nursing team workflow and collaboration
  • Supervise and develop the skills of nurses, technicians, and assistants
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings to drive business results
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical nursing/technician role
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • AS or BS in Veterinary Technology
  • Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the location of the VEG practice

Salary:

$90,000 per year
