*Program Types*

Co-op: This is an extensive 8-month full-time employment opportunity where participants are fully integrated into the corporate and production sectors as valued team members.

Internship: A semester-long part-time employment experience, internships can be extended over multiple semesters, allowing interns to delve into the core aspects of our corporate and production environments.

Our Co-op and Internship opportunities span across 18 distinct functions within the organization.

*Key Responsibilities*

Your primary duties may encompass, but are not limited to:

Tax Division

  • Prepare informational reporting documents for federal tax compliance.
  • Compile data for specialized tax calculations and analyses.
  • Assist with departmental survey initiatives to understand the foundational allocation calculations related to tax concepts and the overall business operations.
  • Collect information for audit responses as required.
  • Manage the preparation, distribution, and intake of tax packages, including follow-up actions.
  • Process exemption certificates to gain insights into sales and use tax methodologies.
  • Support ERP conversion activities, including user acceptance testing and report validation.
  • Gather accruals and facilitate invoice payments to reinforce accounting principles.
  • Engage in the monthly and annual updates of tax rates, authorization forms, and workpaper roll-forwards to observe the flow of tax accounting and compliance functions.

*Qualifications*

• Enrollment as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

• Highly organized with the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive individual who independently tackles challenges and seeks minimal guidance.
