Job Summary

The Plant Services Engineer is a key member of our global operations team, responsible for implementing and maintaining manufacturing platforms in both domestic and international locations.

This role requires strong project management skills, with the ability to lead lean root cause analysis efforts and develop plant layouts with project engineering support.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in plastic extrusion or injection mold manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and understand AutoCAD/Solidworks drawings and functions while maintaining mechanical and electrical drawing files
  • Lead lean root cause analysis efforts to improve process and equipment reliability
  • Develop plant layouts with project engineering support
  • Provide hands-on equipment and process troubleshooting and training
  • Support engineering on R&D of new equipment and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
  • 2-yr associates degree in mechanical, electrical, or plastics acceptable with experience
  • At least five years in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Valid driver's license and passport
Preferred Qualifications
  • Read and write fluently in English and Spanish as needed
  • Experience with lean processes and continuous improvement tools
Work Environment

The Plant Services Engineer will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent travel to domestic and international locations.

The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in and around plant equipment.

The position requires a full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and the ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicle.

The Plant Services Engineer will be required to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours.
