Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Private Duty Nurse RN to provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
