Aveanna's Private Duty nurses provide one-on-one care to medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes. Our nurses work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Communicating with physicians, clients, family members, and staff regarding patient concerns and changes in condition
Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
