The Pediatric Healthcare Assistant is responsible for preparing pediatric patients for examinations, recording vital signs, entering data into the electronic health record system, administering and documenting immunizations and injections, and conducting point-of-care testing such as strep, flu, and mono tests. The role involves managing patient flow, maintaining stock in examination rooms, and assisting with various tasks as required. A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are essential. Familiarity with the electronic health record system is advantageous. Comfort in interacting with children and their guardians is crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and document vital signs
